Electro-rock has always been more archaic, but that is changing. There is this really cool recovery music I saw by Matt Soren that has a new twist on industrial rock music. His album is a mix of electro-rock and the concept of beating addiction.

There are some song previews on his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It appears like the songs are provisional while wrapping up mastered recordings. They sound really good to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more enjoyable way from an addict that has been there and is making an impact for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to see this type of rock coming from the industrial outlet which is usually more archaic in nature.

By the way, he has free tracks you can get from his url and more in his back extras page which is no charge. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be exciting to hear the album once it is finished. That’s my two cents!
